Stairs for a new building

There are rarely such great possibilities to form living conditions as when building a new house. Take advantage of the opportunity. You can simply put the staircase exactly where you want it. Only imagination sets the boundaries.

Think stairs early! The earlier in your building plans you begin to think about the choice of stairs, the greater freedom of choice you will have. Remember to give the stairway sufficient space; in our  size recommendations  you will find guidelines. Perhaps you would like to move the stairway a little, open up a wall, or make some other modification to create a better atmosphere or function. Make sure too that you have reliable securing possibilities  for your stairs.

2. Select your dream stairway. In most cases there is the possibility of getting stairs according to your particular wishes. Discuss the matter with your architect, contractor or house manufacturer to sort out the details.
3. Rough sizes. Make a dimensional sketch or drawing of the space where the stairs are to be installed. Remember that there may be possibilities later to modify the plan to suit your wishes and needs. You can see what sizes are required in the section measuring and fitting. Remember that sizes do not need to be exact at this stage. They are only needed to enable suggestions and to quote a price.  Accurate sizes are determined later.
4. Contact  our dealer. Show your sketches and say what you would like as a final result. We can also help you all the way even with a sketch. You will receive a proposal and a quotation based on your wishes.
5. Ordering. When the proposal suits your wishes it will be time to order stairs and possibly options (eg, installation). Within a day or two you will receive an order confirmation with data on delivery time. If you have ordered installation you will be contacted in good time in advance.
6. Exact sizes. Now it is time to decide exact sizes. It is essential here that the sizes are correct because the stairs will be made to measure.
7. Manufacturing and delivery. We manufacture your stairs according to your wishes and they will be delivered to your home.
8. Fitting. Fitting your stairs will take about one day on condition that painting, wallpapering, etc, are completed in advance.
9. Opening ceremony. New house, new stairs. This is clearly a big event. Remember to arrange a party. Joy that's shared is a joy made double!
