We are sometimes asked to make stairs in a design that deviates from guidelines. Mostly for reasons of appearance. However, our choice is to only supply stairs that conform to current safety requirements.

The rules exist for a reason; and all of our stairs comply with current norms and legislation in markets where they are sold. Some of the illustrations on our web site show designs that are permitted in other countries but not in Sweden.

For example, guidelines prohibit railings which encourage climbing. Even the distance between steps and other openings must be designed so that children cannot creep through and fasten.

You don't need to be anxious. We know what applies and make sure that your stairs follow the guidelines .
