Since your stairs will be made according to the dimensions you provide, it is essential that all measurements are accurate. Our retailer will help you.
They will also help you to fit the stairs and take care of the old staircase. Quickly, simply and smoothly. Approximate dimensions are sufficient to prepare a quotation drawing at your request.
These are the sizes we need:
As a rule these are the only sizes that we need. Sometimes there are things that complicate life. Corners that are not square, walls that lean or an electric cabinet are prime examples that could require further measurements.
- Length and width of stairwell.
- Height of the stairs (from complete floor to complete floor)
- Thickness of floor (distance between ceiling and surface of floor above)
- Maximum length of the stairs
Also ensure that you have reliable securing possibilities for your stairs. This is a prerequisite for proper installation. Feel free to contact us for advice.
If you are a DIYer you could well fit the staircase yourself; detailed fitting instructions are delivered with the staircase. But we still recommend that you ask your retailer for help.
