Drömtrappor & Alexander Lervik on the medal place in New York
IDEA is an award given by IDSA (Industrial Designers Association of America). This year, the bronze prize went to Drömtrappor and Alexander Lervik for the collaboration with the Hemvist collection – a tribute to our history and craftsmanship.
The Hemvist collection is an example of both beautiful craftsmanship and unique technical innovation, with a construction that allows the replacement of individual steps.
The IDEA ceremony is part of the International Design Conference in New York. This year, the gala took place on Wednesday, August 23, when the winners were presented to ceremony participants and press. In addition to the honor of being rewarded for our design and construction work together with Hemvist's designer Alexander Lervik, the collection has also been given a permanent place at the Henry Ford Museum, as part of a growing collection of technological and historically relevant sights.
Winning this award is a mark of our endeavor to deliver stairs of high quality and in first-class design.
