Drömtrappor AB is the largest and leading stair manufacturer in the Nordic region. We have been building stairs since 1923 and with our experience and expertise we lead the development in the industry.
As a leader in the industry, we are also in the forefront regarding safety. We work systematically to develop safety in the staircase environment, both internally and for the entire industry.
We have developed a multitude of clever solutions that make the stairs both safer and more beautiful – for example, MountIn® – and constantly develop new methods to make sure our customers get exactly the staircase they dream of.
Our head office and manufacturing is located in the small community of Norsjö, Sweden. Where we have one of Europe’s largest plants for the production of wooden staircases. At the same time, it is one of the most modern with a variety of specialized machines. There are about 100 people who are passionate about developing and manufacturing the world’s most attractive wooden staircases working here.
With our hearts in Norsjö
Drömtrappor has its heart in Norsjö, one of Sweden’s smallest municipalities with more than 4000 inhabitants. Here, the forest has always been present and offered both work and recreation. A vast woodland with many lakes invites you to outdoor life while the forest and wood industry provides jobs.
Norsjö is important to us. Here we have been around since 1923. First as a Böle Snickerifabrik, then as a Trätrappor and now under the name of Drömtrappor. This is where we have our home. In Norsjö there is a genuine knowledge of wood that is difficult to find elsewhere. It is also a place that is characterized by positive spirit and development.
