Concealed fixings with Mount In

Mount In – Concealed attachment

A staircase is an important part of the look and function of the home, and as a manufacturer of high-quality stairs with artisanal precision, we are constantly looking for new ways to improve our products - while making life a little easier for both the customer and the carpenter. That is why we have developed a system for attachment that we call Mount In.

Since a staircase is manufactured in parts and assembled on site, there will always be fasteners on different parts of the structure, ie. areas where the different parts are joined and fastened with screws. These fastenings are often visible on the skirting and affect the appearance of the stairs. MountIn ® is a patented fitting that gives the wing piece a completely smooth exterior with a genuine quality construction. The assembly method provides an attachment under the level step, which means a significantly easier and less heavy job for our installers. In addition, it provides the opportunity to tighten the bolts in the stairs after installation.

This is how it works

The step is still attached to the wing piece as usual, but instead of screwing or screwing straight through the wing piece, the step is mounted on the special fitting that is attached to the wing piece. The fitting is attached through a cut-out in the underside of the step. The hole, which is covered by a removable cover, makes it possible to retighten the bolts in the stairs if necessary.

Simplification of assembly

MountIn® enables assembly with time optimization in mind. One person can handle the installation themselves.

Individual steps can be replaced without the entire staircase needing to be dismantled*. Because MountIn® minimizes the need for heavy lifting during assembly, the work is partly less stressful for the carpenter, and also reduces the risk of damage to the surroundings and other furnishings. Because the ladder is bolted on, the ladder can be easily re-tensioned and stability increases over time. MountIn® is available as an option for all stairs with side rails.

*Provided that the stairs do not have a wall on both sides. If the stairs are rebuilt with a storage room, the wall will be affected when changing steps.
